Hurricane Christina

When I checked the long-time forecast I could not believe what it showed me.  My first feeling was fear:  WHAT IS THAT???
In three day’s time the biggest storm in 25 years is going to hit our Coast.

The Size of the Storm reported was unreal.  Waves on the open ocean were 20m plus in 20 sec period.  I heard on the radio all the warnings being issued about the strength of this storm, the president Of Ireland issued a warning "To be safe this storm is going to be bad".  The Wind was reaching 130 km/hr. gust and HUGE 20 second period Swell.
Hurricane Christine was hitting Ireland’s west Coast on Monday morning.  On Sunday night the mad conditions started; fallen trees, power outages in Killarney, Thunder and Lightning Storms.  Irish Rescue reported the havocs being caused by Storm conditions.

Anyway Car was packed with SwellKite's.  Just in case!!
On Monday morning we headed to Inch Beach.. What I could see was crazy.  Ocean was mad, wind over 100 km/h big roof waves; the wind direction was cross on shore.  Which was perfect for me to go out and  pass beach break.

But....
No Jet Ski, no Rescue...
My Body wants to go out and ride these monsters but my mind says No.
I don't want to put people’s lives in danger if they had to rescue me.  I know I made the right decision.

I waited for a while and conditions changed in my favour.
Wind was around 35 + knots so I pumped up 6 m Swell 21 m lines and I went for a guick session on Twin Tip board.

I decided to keep my ass close to the shore and do not pass shore brake.
I waited for a while and conditions changed in my favour.
Wind was around 35 + knots so I pumped up 6 m Swell 21 m lines and I went for a guick session on Twin Tip board.
